Purpose and Activities

The organization supports research centers around the world in order to develop cures for people who live with spinal cord injuries.


Established in 1992 in AZ - Founded by Mike Utley, a former professional football player. Utley played offensive lineman for Washington State from 1984 to 1989, and was named MVP of the Aloha Bowl in 1988. Professionally, he played for the Detroit Lions from 1989 to 1991; in 1991, he suffered an injury that left him a paraplegic
