The foundation is dedicated to the well-being of children and youth (ages 0-24) through financial support of nonprofit organizations serving foster and homeless youth, and youth with disabilities; providing child care to low-income families and training to childcare providers; and educational enrichment and mentoring to disadvantaged youth. More strategically, the foundation makes grants in four particular areas: 1) Early Childhood Education; 2) Participation in the Arts; 3) Support Services for Foster Care Children and Youth; and 4) Pathways to Work, programs for low-income young people (age 15-24) that teach them soft skills, encourage them to complete at least a high school education, expose them to meaningful work experiences, and help them to find jobs.
