Support for organizations providing direct services and experiences to underserved children and youth to enable them to gain the skills, values and confidence to achieve their potential.


Established in 1999 in CA - The Dwight Stuart Youth Foundation was endowed by Dwight L. Stuart (1924 - 1998). Mr. Stuart was the grandson of E.A. Stuart, founder of the Carnation Company, and was its president and chief executive officer from 1973 - 1983. During his tenure he introduced almost 200 new products, and Carnation became one of the country's leading pet food manufacturers. At the close of his tenure, he orchestrated the sale of the company to Nestle. The Board of Trustees of the foundation is composed of Mr. Stuart's four sons and his sister
