Established in 1986 in NY - Founded by Daniel Joseph "Rusty" Staub, a former professional baseball player. Staub has played for the Houston Colt .45/Astros (1963-1968), Montreal Expos (1969-1971, 1979), New York Mets (1972-1975, 1981-1985), Detroit Tigers (1976-1979), and Texas Rangers (1980). "Le Grand Orange" as he was nicknamed, was a six-time All Star selection and a holder of several Expos franchise records
