Purpose and Activities

The organization aims to raise funds to assist doctors and hospitals in continuing research efforts and finding new and innovative ways to treat and ultimately find a cure for Neuroblastoma.

Established in 2007 - This all-volunteer, registered 501 (C)(3) charitable organization with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of the Attorney General, Division of Public Charities was established in 2007 after the family's devastating loss of Laura A. Sypek to Neuroblastoma on June 12, 2006 at the age of 11. Diagnosed at the age of two, she battled the disease for most of her life. Despite her age, she worked actively to raise money for cancer research. The foundation's hope is that Laura's endless zest for life under such dire circumstances will serve as a heroic example for all who feel compelled to join this crusade and help save lives of children with cancer. Having more treatment options for children with neuroblastoma is critical for long-term survival and the Foundation endeavors to make that happen.
