Purpose and Activities

The society's mission is to furnish leadership and to foster advances in diagnostic, interventional, gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology; to afford a forum for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to research, practice and education in gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology; to stimulate investigation and teaching in the methods of preventing and treating diseases; and to enhance the study and practice of gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology by establishing lectureships, scholarships, and foundations in gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology.
