Purpose and Activities

The purpose of the foundation is to bring hope to children in crisis, poverty, hunger, and illiteracy.

Established in 2000 as a public charity. Status changed to a private foundation in 2007 - Founded by Scott A. Stapp, a Grammy award winning songwriter and vocalist who is a co-founder and current lead singer of the rock band "Creed." The song "With Arms Wide Open," from the album "Human Clay," released in 1999, won a Grammy for Best Rock Song and served as the inspiration for the foundation's original name. A percentage of proceeds from both the artist's and the band's albums provide a basis for the foundation's funds
