The foundation promotes positive, permanent change to end discrimination, lack of opportunity, poverty and environmental degradation in the San Diego/Tijuana border region by empowering small, community-based organizations with funding and technical assistance.

Established in 1983 in CA - The foundation is a signatory to Philanthropy’s Promise, and consequently, will be committing a significant percentage of their grantmaking dollars to meeting the needs of underserved communities, including the financial support of advocacy and civic engagement
