In the foundation's first 12 years, it was principally supportive of innovative work toward international peace and disarmament, civil rights, and against racism. Since 1995, the foundation has been steadily increasing its support of work that focuses on: U.S. relations with Cuba, and more recently, it has provided assistance to a limited number of initiatives examining U.S. policy and the U.S. presence in Iraq and possible policy options.
Incorporated in 1952 in NY - Founded in the name the late Christopher Reynolds, by his mother the late Libby Holman Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds died in a mountain climbing accident in 1950, when he was 18 years old. Libby Holman Reynolds was a theatrical actress during the 1920s-1930s who gained theatrical recognition for her performances in "The Greenwich Village Follies," Merry-Go-Round" and "Rainbow."
