Established in 1986 in CA - Founded by Carol Burnett, an award-winning actress, comedienne, singer, dancer and writer. She starred in "The Carol Burnett Show," which won twenty-three Emmy Awards. In addition to appearing in such films as "The Four Seasons," "Annie" and "Noises Off," she also appeared on Broadway in "Fade Out - Fade In," "Moon Over Buffalo," and "Once Upon a Mattress," for which she received her first Tony Award nomination. In 1985, Ms. Burnett was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a recipient of the 2003 Kennedy Center Honors and in 2005 she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by former president George W. Bush. In 2013, Burnett received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
