Purpose and Activities

The foundation aims to promote awareness, provide hope and meet tangible needs for families and children with Down syndrome, and provides extraordinary experiences for families and children with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses, especially in the Dominican Republic.


Established in 2005 in CA - Founded by Jose Alberto "Albert" Pujols, a professional baseball player. Pujols is currently a first baseman/ designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. A 9-time All-Star, who has also played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Pujols has won the National League Most Valuable Player award three times (2005, 2008 and 2009) and the Rookie of the Year Award in 2001. Pujols Led the National League in batting in 2003, led the league in Home Runs in 2009 and 2010, and led the league in RBI in 2010.
