Giving in Bexar County includes: 1) programs related to early childhood that emphasize health and wellness, the fine arts, outdoor activities and/or literacy; 2) community service learning projects planned and operated by youth; 3) programs for adults that support self-sufficiency and/or enhance their capacity to care for their families; and 4) programs for elderly persons that use the fine arts to enhance quality of life and/or support health and wellness. Giving in the Central Texas counties of Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendall and Travis consists of programs delivered to children ages 0 to 5 years old that utilize fine arts in curriculum.
