Purpose and Activities
The purpose of the organization is (a) To advance the education of the public, by the provision of support, advice and assistance to museums and art galleries which are situate or which operate in the areas presently or formerly covered by the administrative counties of norfolk, suffolk, essex, cambridge, bedfordshire, hertfordshire and to promote their development and their better use and employment by the public; and (b) To undertake any other charitable purpose.
