Established in 2001 in FL - Founded by Alonzo "Zo" Mourning, a former professional basketball player. Mourning played center for the Charlotte Hornets (1992-1995), New Jersey Nets (2003-2004), and Miami Heat (1995-2002, 2005-2008). He was a seven-time NBA All-Star and was given the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award in 2002. In 2009, the Miami Heat retired his jersey number 33 in his honor
