Founded in 1867 to shelter Lowell's aging mill women, Merrimack River Valley House is a charitable non profit Level IV Rest Home licensed by the Department of Public Health. Our skilled staff, Executive Director and Board of Trustees are dedicated to ensuring that each resident's daily needs are met in an atmosphere as comforting as her own home because people live longer, happier, healthier lives at home.
