Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily to encourage the study of math, science, and engineering at the college or undergraduate level. Preference is given to students who wish to study at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, or The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Applicants must 1) demonstrate financial need, 2) be in the top 10 percent of their graduating class and have a desire to study math, science, or engineering, 3) take a challenging course of study in math and science and have successfully completed available AP Science and Math courses, 4) score in the top ten percentile in the Math, Reading and Writing SATs or equivalent, and 5) have strong character demonstrated in school and/or community. The foundation also supports efforts in the arts, the environment and humanitarian needs.
