Established in 1998 in MA - Founded by Pedro Martínez, a former Major League Baseball starting pitcher. During his career, Martinez won the American League Cy Young Award three times, and is an 8-time All-Star. Martinez has pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies. Ramon Martinez, his brother, also was a major league pitcher, playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates.
