Giving primarily for the installation of playrooms for children's hospitals.


Established in 1999 in NY - Founded by Patrick "Pat" LaFontaine, who was a former player in the National Hockey League. He played center for the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Rangers. LaFontaine also won the Bill Masterton Trophy for Perseverance, and was an inductee in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003. He became an inductee in the Nassau County Sports Hall of Fame in 2007
