Purpose and Activities

The association works to offer counseling to children and families in need.


Established in 1901 in IL - Founded by the late Jane Adams, a social worker and political pioneer who established Hull House, the first settlement house in the United States, in 1889. In 1931, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts in promoting women's suffrage and the needs of mothers and the poor
