The foundation will take a broad view of education including day schools, camping, youth groups, congregational education and the like. The foundation seeks to identify funding opportunities in support of educational experiences that make an indelible impact on the lives of its Jewish participants. .


Established in 2003 in CA following the death of Jim Joseph; classified as a private foundation in 2006 - Jim Joseph was founder and president of a successful real estate development company. When he passed away in 2003, he left the Jim Joseph Foundation to benefit the education of Jewish youth in the United States. The Jim Joseph Foundation began operations in January 2006.
