Established in 1990 in NY - Founded by Alan Alda, an actor, director and screenwriter. He is best known for his long-term role as Hawkeye Pierce on the television show "M*A*S*H," for which he won five Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Directing. He has appeared in many movies, including "The Seduction of Joe Tynan," "The Four Seasons," "Crimes and Misdemeanors," and "Everyone Says I Love You." In addition to his Emmy Awards, Alda has appeared on Broadway numerous times in shows such as "The Apple Tree" for which he was nominated for a Tony Award, Neil Simon's "Jake's Women," Yasmina Reza's "Art," "QED" (which Alda collaborated on with playwright Peter Parnell and director Gordon Davidson), and the 2005 revival of David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross" which also earned him a Tony nomination
