Established in 2002 in CA - Founded in the name of the late Mary Pickford, who was an actress as well as a co-founder of the United Artists Studios, and one of the original thirty-six founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She was one of silent film's most important performers and producers. The American Film Institute named Pickford 24th among the greatest female stars of all time. Among her films are "The Poor Little Rich Girl," "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" and "Daddy-Long-Legs."
