Purpose and Activities

The Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF) offers a competitive grant program for schools located within the Greater St. Louis area. It invites accredited K-12 educational institutions and their classroom educators to apply for a grant. Successful projects bring innovative learning to life through the integration of technology. ITEF supports leading edge, outside of the box ideas and models that positively impact student learning and support classroom educators by focusing on: (1) Student Achievement: Students reach new levels of educational success with the integration of technology to support a strong technology based curriculum, (2) Mobile / Extended Learning: Using technology to extend and enhance learning outside of the traditional classroom, and (3) Technology Skill Development: Projects that support students and teachers in developing the skills and knowledge needed to function in and contribute to a technology-rich society.
