Background
Established in 1990 in NY - The Federation was founded by Luis A. Miranda. It was created because there was a sense that Latino organizations did not have "a seat at the table" when it came to funding support as well as advocacy and public policy. So the Federation was founded to be an organization focused on fair share equity.
