Incorporated in 1965 in KS - Mr. Hansen was born in 1883 in Logan, KS and spent all of his life there. His various business interests included ranching and cattle breeding, road and bridge construction, and, from the late 1930s until his death, oil and gas production, from which much of his fortune derived. An active philanthropist throughout his life, Mr. Hansen left the bulk of his estate to the foundation, which was designed to improve the quality of life in Logan, Philips County, and northwest KS.
