Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily to support organizations and projects for disadvantaged children, including education and health; funding also for children with disabilities, street children, and children going through family breakdown.


Founded by Steven Gerrard, an English footballer with the Premier League club of Liverpool. Mr. Gerrard is best known for his long-range striking ability and has scored in numerous cup finals, including the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final and the 2006 FA Cup Final. In 2010, "The Guardian" daily newspaper named Gerrard to their World XI team, which compiled the greatest footballers of all time onto one squad. In 2006, Gerrard published his autobiography "Gerrard: My Autobiography." Ghost-written by English sports journalist Henry Winter, the autobiography won "Sports Book of the Year" at the British Book Awards.
