Purpose and Activities

The mission of the foundation is to provide seed money for promising research and scientists who might not otherwise be funded, and supports cutting-edge research, individually or in a collaborative effort, which can expedite the day when a cure for Alzheimer's might be found.


Established in 1983 in CA - Founded by the Dorothy Kirsten French and Richard K. Eamer, in honor of Ms. French's husband, John Douglas French. The late Dorothy French performed as a featured soprano for the Metropolitan Opera from 1945 to 1976, and appeared in the films "Mr. Music," and "The Great Caruso."
