Purpose and Activities

The foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Hancock County area through collaborative leadership, responsible grantmaking, and development of philanthropic giving. The foundation seeks to facilitate philanthropic efforts through the development and stewardship of donor funds. The foundation builds permanent endowed funds contributed by individuals, corporations and institutions, provides grants and assistance to develop and strengthen organizations located in the community, encourages partnerships with other foundations, businesses and government entities to increase funds distributed to the community, and inspires philanthropic and community involvement.
