Ernst & Young Bermuda offers scholarships to a student in each of its Bahamas, Bermuda,
British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands locations. The scholarship is valued at up to $30,000 per annum and is renewable for up-to a maximum of 5 years until the recipient has completed the minimum educational requirements necessary to qualify for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) professional licensure, assuming full-time academic enrollment during this period. Successful applicants must be enrolled at an approved college or university working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, or other appropriate academic major, and who are looking for career experience in a dynamic environment. Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA collectively and within their major, accept employment as an intern for a minimum of 8 weeks at a local Ernst & Young office during school breaks, qualify and obtain their license as a CPA (in either the US or Canada (for Bermuda only), within 3 years of beginning full-time employment, and if qualified, begin full-time employment with Ernst & Young for a minimum period of 3 years, assuming they meet the expected level of performance.
