Purpose and Activities

The organization attempts to systematically eradicate all forms of racism by providing different programs that foster cultural diversity, historical enrichment, education, and antiviolence initiatives.


Founded by Louis Gossett, Jr., who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1982 for his work in the film "An Officer and A Gentleman." In 1977, he received an Emmy Award for his work in the miniseries "Roots." In 2013, Gossett starred in the controversial drama "Boiling Point."
