The organization's mission is to create a model of philanthropy within Minnesota's Latino community that fosters the giving of talent, time, and money to efforts that build on the assets and strengths of the Latino community.
Component fund of the Minnesota Community Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation - Recognizing the needs of the communities of Minnesota, the Saint Paul foundation created four multicultural funds in 1991. The Latino fund was renamed El Fondo de Nuestra Communidad. Currently the Fund has an endowment of nearly $1,000,000.
