Purpose and Activities

The organization aims to honor Dwight D. Eisenhower and perpetuate his important legacy; to encourage and support educational activities relating to citizenship; and to support the operation of the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum (The Eisenhower Center).


Established in 1945 in KS - Founded in the name of the late Dwight D. Eisenhower, who served in the U.S. Army from 1915 to 1953, and again from 1961 to 1969, eventually attaining the rank of Army General and overseeing Allied troop movement in Europe during World War II. From 1953 to 1961, he acted as the 34th President of the U.S.
