Purpose and Activities
The foundation's mission is to work with children’s organizations in establishing programs that will plant seeds of generosity, encourage education, support leadership, and inspire activity and health in the youth. .
Background
Established in 2011 in FL - Founded by Dwight Howard, a professional National Basketball Association center for the Houston Rockets. Howard, who has also played for the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic, is an 8-time NBA All-Star, and has been recognized three times as the NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Dwight Howard is a signatory to the Hollywood Pledge, to which celebrities pledge to support and list specific charities or causes important to them, while encouraging fan interaction in the hope that their fans will be educated about, and also support, these charities or causes
