Purpose and Activities

The foundation seeks to: 1) Facilitate the interface between humans and their environment; 2) Bridge the gap between ecosystem needs and management practices on local, regional, national and international scales; 3) Interweave local social and economic trade-offs, which result from political boundaries, into the platform of planning for sustainable development and conservation; 4) Build local capacity for wildlife management while preserving traditional lifestyles; 5) Minimize and eliminating predominant behaviors that induce the impact of life threatening hazards; and 6) Optimize national and international biodiversity related decision making by based on scientific knowledge. .
