Purpose and Activities

The foundation works to strengthen the capacity of governments and individuals to alleviate poverty, improve global health, strengthen economies, and protect the environment.


Established in 1997 in AR - Founded by William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton. Mr. Clinton served as the Governor of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981, and again from 1983 to 1992. In 1992, he was elected as the 42nd President of the United States, and served two terms.
