Established in 2005 in CA; Foundation operates for the benefit of California State University - Founded by Carol Channing and her husband Harry Kullijian. Channing, a singer and actress, is most famous for her role as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the Broadway musical "Hello, Dolly!," for which she won a Tony Award in 1964; she went on to repeat this role in the 1978 and 1995 Broadway revivals of the same show. She is also known for her role as Lorelei Lee in the Broadway musical "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," and she received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the 1974 musical "Lorelei," which was based on the former. In 1995, Channing received the Lifetime Achievement Tony Award
