Purpose and Activities

The foundation was established to support literacy, the arts, and other youth inspired programs. Aside from providing relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina, the foundation currently has three major beneficiaries: (1) Read To Pass, its signature summer reading program, (2) Waldo Burton Boys Home and (3) Brooks Outreach Libraries.


Established in 2003 in LA - Founded by Aaron Brooks, a retired NFL quarterback who had played for the Green Bay Packers, the New Orleans Saints, and the Oakland Raiders. He is a three-time NFL FedEx Air Player of the Week and 2002 NFC Passing Touchdown leader.
