Giving primarily to fight poverty and AIDS and support the world's orphans and vulnerable children by advocating for their needs and reinforcing the capacities of the communities that care for them.

Established in 1989 - The foundation takes its name from François-Xavier Bagnoud (FBX), a young pilot committed to rescuing people through flight who died at the age of 24 in a helicopter accident in Mali, West Africa. His family and friends established and financed with the help of others the activities of the foundation in his spirit.
