Purpose and Activities

The foundation is currently focusing on education in Nevada and further developing partnerships with a select number of organizations whose mission and goals align with their efforts.


Established in 1994 in OH; became a public charity in Mar. 2001 - Founded by Andre Agassi, a former tennis player who was ranked number one in the world in 1995 and 1999 by the Association of Tennis Professionals. He won the Wimbledon tennis championships in 1992, the U.S. Open Championship in 1994 and 1999, the Australian Open Championship in 1995, 2000, 2001, and 2003, and the French Open in 1999. In 1996, he also won an Olympic gold medal in men's tennis. He founded the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is a tuition-free charter school for at-risk children in the area.
