The mission of the council: to advance the shared interests of community colleges in arizona; to advocate, communicate and coordinate in order to strengthen the community colleges in the state of arizona; to promote cooperation among community college governing board members in the state of arizona and the interchange of experiences and best practices in the conduct of their responsibilities to the end that each may benefit from the others; to formulate and promote legislation that will benefit community colleges in the state of arizona and to oppose legislation detrimental to community colleges in the state of arizona; to compile, publish, circulate and disseminate publications, articles and other information relating to community colleges in arizona; to facilitate collaboration and promote common purposes among the community colleges in the state of arizona;.
