Our Mission: To improve the lives of the youth in Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities.
We look to promote the social welfare of the Niagara Falls community through an indoor sports and education facility that serves as a community center. The facility provides a location for collaborative activity among community groups such as Niagara Catholic and other high schools, Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club, Niagara PAL, and other not-for-profit organizations.
Our Vision: Western New York is faced with unique education and economic problems that can be addressed by helping our children reach their potential through educational and athletic enrichment during out of school time. The children of the Buffalo-Niagara Region are our future and will help us revive our community.
The Niagara Community Center will be a place where children and teenagers in Niagara Falls, NY and the surrounding communities will grow to become leaders of tomorrow. “The Niagara” will work in collaboration with the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, Niagara Catholic High School, Niagara University and the Niagara Police Athletic League. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a safe, enriching environment during out of school and weekend time. “The Niagara” will offer a mixed use space suitable for tennis, cheerleading, volleyball, soccer and other sports. The facility will contain academic classrooms for computer labs, the arts, and tutoring. A mentorship program, spearheaded by Niagara University, combining academic and athletic enrichment, will fortify life skills and self-esteem for each child. The community of Niagara Falls needs to invest in its cornerstone - the children - in order to ensure a bright future for generations to come.
