Purpose and Activities

Our Mission: To promote a fair and just criminal justice system in Texas. TDS aims to improve the quality of representation afforded to those facing a death sentence and to expose and eradicate the systemic flaws plaguing the Texas death penalty. We train, consult and provide continuing legal education. We research and report on best practices in criminal justice. We represent clients and speak for those without a voice. We help build a better criminal justice system.
