New Hopes core purpose is to provide life-stabilizing, affordable, permanent housing with support services for people who live on very limited incomes. Currently, New Hope assists individuals living alone who struggle to survive. Without permanent single room occupancy (SRO) housing in a safe and nurturing environment, these women and men would be literally homeless or living in severely substandard conditions. Almost 80% of New Hopes residents have an income of less than $800/mo. and more than 60% are formerly homeless direct indicators that New Hope serves the most vulnerable citizens.
