About

Purpose and Activities

A) To honor and perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who, by their services and sacrifices during the American Revolution from 1775 to 1783, assisted in the in the establishment of the United States of America as a free and independent country, with special consideration accorded to the Commissioned Officers of the New York Continental Line and the soldiers they led; B) To promote historical research into the study of history of the American Revolution, by assisting in the support of libraries, authors, and programs designed to accomplish the foregoing; C) To assist in the collection and preservation of records relative to the American Revolution and the records of service of those who participated in it; D) To inspire patriotism and loyalty to the United States of America and to foster a spirit of fellowship and support among the members of the Corporation; E) To cooperate with the General Society of the Cincinnati and its other constituent societies.
