Our Mission: For generations, mariners sailing near the granite islands known as The Cuckolds heeded the haunting call of the fog signal and the gleam of the lighthouse beacon there to guide them safely into Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
Today, the lovingly restored, historic Cuckolds Lighthouse beckons travelers seeking adventure, tranquility, or a one-of-a-kind place to celebrate life's great moments and make new memories. The Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse welcomes guests for the first time in history. Choose from our elegantly appointed East or West Suites to enjoy dramatic ocean views from every window. For a truly unforgettable experience, reserve the entire Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse and luxuriate in your own private island getaway.
Recognizing that people only protect what they love, and they only love what they understand, a cadre of community leaders rescued, restored, and rebuilt the historic 1892 Cuckolds Fog Signal and Light Station so that residents and summer visitors alike can learn about the region's rich maritime traditions and history and stay overnight in a unique offshore lighthouse. The Cuckolds is open to the public for the first time in history, for tours, overnight stays, and experiential maritime education and recreation.
