Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily to park rangers and their communities who are in the front-line of conservation. The foundation predominantly works in developing nations and conflict zones, and with Indigenous park rangers within Australia and abroad. The foundation provides rangers on the front-line of conservation with essential anti-poaching equipment and training, and financial support to the widows and orphans of park rangers killed in the line of duty. Widows' support includes: addressing basic human needs such as food, water, shelter and security; paying school fees so children can continue to receive an education (mandatory for all school aged children); and the set up of small business ventures, driven by the needs of each family, their personal aspirations, skill sets and cultural context.
