  1. Q. How do I subscribe?

    A. You can subscribe to all of The Foundation Directory Online services over the Internet. To do so:

    1. Go to www.fconline.fdncenter.org. This is the Login screen.

    2. On the Login Screen there's a button that says "Click Here To Subscribe Now". Click on this link to begin the subscription process. You can use a credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express), or a personal check (for annual subscriptions only). Pricing information is provided on the subscription screens.

     

  2. Q. I'd like to subscribe to The Foundation Directory Online, but when I try to go to the Subscribe Now screen, I get bounced back to the Login screen. What do I do?

    A. You're probably using an older browser. To use The Foundation Directory Online we suggest you use either Netscape Navigator version 4.0 or better, or Internet Explorer version 4.0 or better.

     

  3. Q. I paid by check but haven't heard yet whether my account has been activated. How can I find out the status of my subscription?

    A. Call our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST for information regarding your account.

     

  4. Q. I never received my e-mail confirmation after subscribing.

    A. Call our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, and we will e-mail a confirmation to you.

     

  5. Q. How do I get a receipt when I sign up?

    A. You can use the e-mail confirmation we send to you as a receipt, or, if you subscribed with a credit card, your monthly bill also provides a record of the transaction.

     

  6. Q. What are the methods of payment?

    A. A credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) can be used for either a monthly or annual subscription. Checks are accepted for annual subscriptions only.

     

  7. Q. Can I subscribe by phone?

    A. No. All subscriptions are handled online by going to www.fconline.fdncenter.org and clicking on "Click Here To Subscribe Now".

     

  8. Q. Can I pay by check?

  9. Q. Can I pay by credit card?

  10. Q. What am I entitled to as a subscriber, and what are my obligations?

  11. Q. Can I pay for my subscription with a purchase order?

    A. No. We only accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) and personal checks for annual subscriptions.

     

  12. Q. I received an e-mail confirmation that I'm registered, but I keep getting the message: Incorrect user name or password. Please try again.

    A. Call our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST for assistance.

     

  13. Q. I went through the subscription process, entered my credit card number, etc., but I was bounced out and brought back to the subscription entry screen. If I try to subscribe again, will my credit card be billed twice? I don't know if my subscription went through.

     A. Call our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST for assistance.

     

  14. Q. Can I cancel my subscription at any time? Can I get my money back?

    A. You can cancel at any time by sending an email message to customerservice@fdncenter.org. However, your account will remain active until the end of your subscription period. You will not receive a refund.

     

  15. Q. I am a member of your Associates Program. Can you bill my account?

    A. Yes. Contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST for instructions on how to do this.

    Q. I recently bought the print edition of The Foundation Directory. Can I return it and subscribe to The Foundation Directory Online instead?

  16. A. Yes. Call our Customer Service department at 1-800-478-4661, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST for instructions on how to do this.

     

  17. Q. Is The Foundation Directory Online available in your libraries and Cooperating Collections?

    A. It is available at all Foundation Center libraries and at many Cooperating Collections. Call in advance to see it the Cooperating Collection nearest you can provide you with access to the service.
